If you're currently running, or a graduate of our Couch to 5K Training program, with dreams of running an 8K (5 mi), this class is for you! A fitness professional will coach you through 60-minute sessions twice per week with a running program designed to gradually and safely progress you to the finish. This 10-week program will include group outdoor conditioning (weather permitting), individual training on alternative days and group educational sessions designed to help you complete the Charlottesville 8K in April! Pre-requisite: Participants must be currently running and able to maintain 25 min of continuous jogging.
Participation is FREE for UVa Health Plan-covered employees and spouses as part of the Hoo's Well program. Participation limited to 25 participants.

2015 - the perfect time for change, new starts and limitless potential! Kick off Spring months strong by participating in Hoo's Well workouts of the month. Choose to receive the workouts by email and complete on your own or to attend small group training with a coach. Combine cardio interval training with effective resistance training to meet your fitness goals. Register for Small Group Training option to be led by a fitness coach through the monthly workout and participants will receive a copy of the workout.

HOO'S WELL POP-UP FITNESS
Hoo’s Well Pop-Up Pilates
The practice and principles of Pilates help train your body to move from a strong core by developing strength and flexibility using your body and gravity to create resistance. Drop in to Pilates to better understand the importance of "the core" in other forms of exercise and in daily life, leaving you stronger, more centered and equipped with tools for maintaining and strengthening the muscles that support the spine. HOO'S LOSIN' IT?
Hoo's Losin' It? is a six month, clinically supervised weight loss program aimed to help you get healthy and stay healthy. This weight management program provides group education and support on nutrition/exercise/behavior change, personal nutrition coaching with a registered dietition, and individual/group training with a certified fitness professional.
