More Than Sports
IM-Rec Sports manages 4 recreational centers which includes 2 indoor pools, a 2,000+ sq ft Climbing Center, the McArthur Squash Center and over 30 acres of outdoor courts and fields. We provide opportunities for self-directed and organized fitness, sports and adventure.

Fitness - Three Styles of Fitness
Self-directed - For the people who have both the knowledge and motivation to get a good workout on their own. We've got state of the art equipment in each of our buildings so you can do your thing. We also offer personal training to give you a plan tailored specifically for you.
Group Exercise - Passionate instructors lead these drop-in classes giving some instruction and lots of motivation. Group Exercise is a community of people working out together in a variety of formats from cycle to strength to dance to aquatic.
Instructional Classes - Fitness Instruction classes give you progressive instruction with the same group of people over a series of weeks. You'll develop your ability, knowledge and friendships all while getting a great workout.
Very few things can develop us the way sports can. Sports helps strengthen us physically, mentally, relationally and emotionally. That's why we organize a wide variety of sports for every kind of player. Take a look at our upcoming leagues and tournaments.
The Outdoor Adventure program helps you experience Virginia's amazing natural beauty. Make some new friends by sharing an adventures. We have trips you can go on or rent some gear and venture off on your own. We also have over 2,000 sq ft of climbing surface at the Climbing Center located at Slaughter Recreational Center.
