Hoos Having Fun Summer Camp

UVA's half day camp is back and bigger!

Hoos Having Fun Summer Camp

All kids ages 6-12 are eligible for camp. With restrictions recently lifting, we are now able to offer camp to kids of UVA faculty, staff and the Charlottesville community.

Your kids will enjoy every moment of our half-day, week-long summer camps led by our Fun Bosses. It's all about having fun, making friends and being active with sports games and lots of chance to burn off energy.
Traditional Sports: Tennis, Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Pickleball, Swimming
Non-Traditional Sports: Kickball, Wiffleball, Rock Climbing, Capture the Flag, Freeze Tag, Four Square, Jump Rope, Obstacle Course and more!

Y’all did a fantastic job. The manual you developed was gorgeous and easy to read, drop off and pick up was a breeze, there was a great variety of activities, and the kids had so much fun. Thank you so much for bringing back this camp!!!

I understand that although the University of Virginia holds the health and safety of its community as paramount, there is no guarantee that my minor child will not be exposed to or infected with COVID-19 during participation in this camp, program, or associated activities. I have reviewed the CDC’s information on the benefits of getting a COVID-19 vaccine (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/vaccine- benefits.html) and understand that, if I choose to allow my minor child to participate,  the physical presence of my child as well as participation and utilization of facilities, services, and programs at the University of Virginia may carry heightened risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care and reasonable efforts taken to avoid and mitigate those risks. I also understand that my minor child may be at higher risk for severe complications from COVID-19 if my minor child has particular conditions identified by the CDC. Despite these risks, I chose to have my minor child participate in the camp, clinic, and associated activities. I have read and fully understand the risks associated with participation and I voluntarily and knowingly assume those risks for my minor child as a condition of participation.
