Swimming's Cool: Summer 2014
Session 1: May 12–15 & May 19–22 • Session II: May 27–30 & June 2–5
The Swimming's Cool program is designed to help children learn to be safe in the water by teaching basic aquatic skills. Our quality swimming instruction is geared toward individual needs and is designed to increase the student's comfort level in the water. Instructors emphasize the development of swimming skills and an awareness of water and pool safety. Swimming's Cool runs in two sessions of eight lessons each.
- Two weeks, eight 45-minute lessons
- Low student-instructor ratio
- Quality, experienced instructors who love working with kids
- Lessons occur in state of the art Aquatic Center, home of the UVA Varsity Swim & Dive teams
- T-shirt included with registration!

Youth Recreation Membership
Enjoy priority member registration opportunities and discount pricing. Youth Membership also allows facility access to the youth member during all Family Recreation and Family Swim hours at the Aquatic & Fitness Center and North Grounds Recreation Center pools when accompanied by an adult member, for a full year.
Join our team of fun, experienced instructors made up of UVA and surrounding college students, University staff and Charlottesville community members. We provide paid inservice training and offer the opportunity to work with children who are excited to learn. Apply online!
