IM-Rec Sports: Hallowed, Magical After Hours
By Susie Fidler
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away there was a group of best friends who decided to visit the Aquatic and Fitness Center for Hallowed, Magical After Hours. They had heard After Hours was a scream but had not yet attended. This After Hours event was planned and executed by none other than Walt Disney himself. Or perhaps the ghost of Walt Disney…
The AFC was transformed into a magical recreation center; it was not a small world. There was a clubhouse in the lobby, the pool had a magic mountain slide from the diving platform all the way to the shallow end of the pool and there were amazing performances by a whole new cast of characters.
The first act was an elegant, masterful ballet piece performed by the Sumo Wrestler, set to the music of the Pony Tail-less Cow Girl. The Floridian Beachcomber gave the crowd many belly laughs with her stand-up comedy routine focusing on the trials and tribulations of a first time professional cast member. During the intermission, The Fisherman was sliding down the magic mountain in the pool having snuck her rod and reel in with her. Unfortunately, she hooked the slide and it was immediately deflated. Lucky for her, Wonder Woman was standing guard and was able to rescue The Fisherman with her magic lasso.
The Men In Black took over the show around midnight. Agent S, one particularly tall Man in Black, stole the show when his toy dog began chasing him around the stage and he accidentally erased his memory. The Braided Cow Girl stepped in quickly for the suddenly confused Agent S with a particularly rousing sign-along of everyone's favorite Disney classics. Her magnificent spurs sparckled across the stage. AcCOUNTant Dracula was trying to submit payroll for those amazing cast members working the event but unfortunately, the accounts had been sucked dry.
